What to do after the service clinic

Dear @ServiceClinicians

We have just concluded a tough “service clinic” with members of the Ubuntunet community.

I would like to make sure that the momentum continues. Here are a few further steps that you could take to make sure that you can continue to work and get use out of the tools that we’ve gone over.

Here’s a quick checklist:

  • You have a github account
  • You have repository containing the code for deploying your service, whether it’s a data repository, eduroam radius server, etc
  • You have started a playbook for your service.

If you’ve been working on the virtual machine that @ChrisRohrer has provided for you, remember that that machine will be destroyed soon. You will need to add and commit all of the work that you’ve done to your repository, and continue working on your personal machine. If you need help in getting a good dev environment going, feel free to start a topic here.

HI @ServiceClinicians

this is just to let you know that I plan to switch off the servers that we have used during the workshop this afternoon.

Let me know if you’d like to keep your server for a bit longer.

Thanks Chris for informing us.

Its okay with me, You can go ahead and switch mine off.

Thanks for letting me know, Hellen. Your server is history.
